ABOUT OUR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Janine Lange BPE, MPT
Born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and raised on an acreage near the town of Marwayne, Alberta, Janine attended Marwayne Jubilee School from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Janine went on to complete a Bachelor of Physical Education degree with a concentration in Sport Performance from the University of Alberta and then a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
Since graduation, Janine has been employed in public health care/hospitals by Prairie North Health Region (PNHR) in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and Alberta Health Services (AHS) in both Vermilion, Alberta and Wainwright, Alberta. These opportunities have allowed her to work in a variety of roles, in a diversity of settings, and with a mixed range of patient ages. Areas of assessment and treatment include orthopaedics, acute care, stroke clinic, hip & knee screening clinic, cast clinic (post-op/surgeries and fractures), long term care and group education classes.
Janine appreciated growing up in a rural community, which instilled in her traditional morals and values such as respect, ethical principles and the value of hard work. Janine enjoys the challenge of working in smaller communities and using creativity to utilize the resources available to design programs that address clients’ needs. Janine also enjoys collaborating with professionals in surrounding communities, sharing ideas and working in multidisciplinary teams.
Janine is highly motivated to further her professional development through continuing education and strives to integrate best practice guidelines into her service delivery. Her education interests are in courses which address wellness from a holistic point of view and incorporate soft tissue (i.e. trigger point release, myofascial release etc.) and neuromuscular techniques, as well as joint mobilization. Since opening her clinic, she has completed the Integrated Systems Model series (Diane Lee) as well as courses in Craniosacral Therapy, PhysioYoga, External and Internal Women's Health, Dry Needling, Visceral Manipulation and Dermoneuromodulation.
Always seeking to represent her profession well, Janine adheres to the Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association regulations and holds active membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

To achieve this, we employ highly skilled practitioners that are dedicated to professionalism and are motivated by the desire to continuously pursue further education.
Philosophy
Inspired by artistic representations of the Canadian landscape and the beauty of nature and its creatures, the name Masterpiece Therapies Inc. was chosen to illustrate the concepts of outdoor tranquility and serenity, and to reflect the elements of skillful creativity & workmanship.

Masterpiece Therapies Inc. seeks to assist patients to recognize their potential and desires to motivate them to strive to create the most complete version of themselves. This can be achieved through high quality physiotherapy diagnostic assessment and individualized treatment prescription that encourages active participation in exercise programs. Under the guidance of a physiotherapist and with dedication to therapeutic practice, dysfunction can be corrected and the most efficient movement patterns can be developed in order to achieve pain-free living and an optimal level of functioning.

Patients who do not have coverage through the plans listed above are responsible to independently complete submission to their plan of choice for reimbursement (if applicable). We also accept MasterCard, Visa, Cash or Cheque.

What to Bring
- Proper attire – shorts, tank tops etc. to expose the body part to be assessed
- Paper copies of any diagnostic tests (i.e. MRI, CT, x-ray results) that would aid in the understanding of your illness/condition in order to better formulate a suitable treatment plan that meets your individual needs
